I know… no fat or sugar and my taste buds demand other things – or have the media and advertising “done us in”, yet again? Have we become addicted?

Let’s get our independent thinking back and take control of our own body, of our own health. We give power away much too quickly. When we think about it we know fresh fruits and fresh vegetables have got to be the healthiest diet we can imagine. Yeh, sure, I like a good steak just as much as the other guy! But, we’ve cut back on those things we once thought we had to have and focused on what our bodies need most, and want those not-so-good-for-us things a lot less. I’m not saying juice and raw foods only but the more you have those good juicing recipes the less you want of other things. Start small and go from there… but start. Build to a place where raw foods, eaten and juiced, make up the majority of your diet.

I’m not sure you will ever be able to throw your drugs away but I would really be surprised if you could not cut them dramatically within 3 months, probably less than 3 months, on the basis of testimonies we’ve heard. Actually, if you listen, your body will tell you when to cut back and how much. Oh, you may need your doctor to help regulate your needs but just remember who’s hiring who. In fact we do advocate your physicians input.
